Job Posting – Videographer; Training Materials

POSITION SUMMARY

The Videographer; Training Materials is responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and instructional video content that supports the onboarding, safety, and ongoing training of RL Siteworx field and office personnel. This role will work closely with operations, safety, and leadership teams to transform subject matter expertise into visual, easy-to-understand training modules. The ideal candidate will be equal parts filmmaker, storyteller, and technical editor.

PERSONALITY ASSESSMENT

OBJECTIVES

·         Film and produce training videos focused on field operations, safety, and procedures

·         Standardize video formats for consistency across all training content

·         Coordinate with SMEs to storyboard and script training modules

·         Manage RL Siteworx’s video training library in Smartsheets or preferred LMS

·         Create short-form video content for safety refreshers and toolbox talks

·         Record and edit video during live jobsite training sessions

·         Ensure content accuracy and alignment with company safety and operational standards

·         Maintain a training content release calendar to support onboarding timelines

·         Integrate visual aids (e.g., drone footage, motion graphics) to enhance clarity

·         Conduct periodic audits of video training effectiveness with field teams

·         Ensure ADA compliance and accessibility features in all training content

·         Maintain and organize all raw and final footage within a structured archive

·         Collaborate with HR and Safety to develop engaging compliance training

·         Implement video feedback surveys to measure training effectiveness

·         Support internal communications with video documentation when needed

COMPETENCIES

·         Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or comparable editing software

·         Strong storytelling and instructional design mindset

·         Experience filming in dynamic, outdoor, and industrial environments

·         Ability to capture clear visuals and audio in jobsite conditions

·         Excellent time management and project coordination skills

·         Ability to work independently and translate technical topics into clear visuals

·         Drone videography experience

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

·         Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field preferred

·         3+ years of professional experience in videography and editing

·         Prior experience producing training, instructional, or corporate video content

·         Experience working in construction, industrial, or field-based environments strongly preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

·         Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs of video equipment

·         Ability to film outdoors in varying weather conditions and jobsite terrain

·         Comfortable standing, kneeling, or crouching for extended filming sessions

·         Ability to safely navigate active construction sites while filming

COMPENSATION

Competitive base salary from $65,000 to $85,000Unlimited incentives
