LOCATION: Sterling, VA. This is a flexible hybrid (1-2x/wk in office) role available to those who reside within a 60 mile commute.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
- Lead analysis and documentation of Privileged Access Management (PAM) requirements across business units, ensuring alignment with security policies and operational goals.
- Drive PAM project planning, execution, and delivery in agile environments, partnering closely with internal teams and external vendors.
- Define and optimize intake processes, integration requirements, and ongoing metrics to improve PAM operations and customer experience.
- Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to design, implement, and support scalable PAM solutions with a focus on automation, efficiency, and user experience.
- Lead access reviews, ensuring compliance with security policies and audit standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within IAM/PAM programs.
- Perform fit-gap analysis, recommend business process enhancements, and drive innovation in PAM capabilities.
- Contribute across all SDLC phases — from requirements gathering to solution delivery and user training.
- Develop executive-ready presentations to communicate challenges, solutions, and recommendations effectively.
IDEAL PROFILE: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business system analysis, a deep understanding of PAM technologies and processes, and the ability to manage projects and collaborate effective with partners and stakeholders at all levels.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND
- 10+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience, with a strong focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions. PAM/IAM certifications or training (preferred).
- 3+ years of hands-on administration with enterprise PAM tools (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea, One Identity Safeguard, IBM Security Verify Privilege Vault, etc.).
- Demonstrated expertise in translating complex business processes into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong knowledge of PAM concepts, technologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with SOX compliance controls, ideally within a high-tech or highly regulated environment.
- Comfortable navigating complex, integrated system landscapes and driving cross-functional collaboration.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
WORK AUTHORIZATION: US Citizen/Green Card holder preferred. May consider a H-1B transfer.
