We’re seeking a JD Edwards Workforce Management (WFM) Senior Business Analyst Consultant with deep functional expertise and hands-on experience supporting U.S. & CAD payroll processes, end-of-year ESU activities, and related payroll system tasks. Experience with Canadian payroll (CAD) is a strong plus. This is a consulting role requiring exceptional communication skills, independence, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Must be located in the USA able to work on a 1099 basis, 40 hours per week during typical business hours.

 

 

• Serve as a subject matter expert for JD Edwards WFM and all related modules, particularly payroll.
• Lead and support end-of-year ESU work, including testing, configuration, validation, and deployment.
• Manage U.S. & CAD payroll-related activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of all payroll events.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to analyze current processes, identify gaps, and define system or procedural improvements.
• Develop detailed functional requirements, system documentation, business process flow diagrams, and end-user training materials.
• Partner with developers and subject matter experts to define the technical vision and balance usability with performance.
• Support data conversion, testing, and merger/acquisition activities when needed.

• 10+ years of relevant experience, including extensive hands-on JD Edwards WFM functional knowledge.
• Proven expertise in U.S. payroll, year-end processes, and compliance. Experience with CAD payroll is a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise with EOY ESUs.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Must be located in the United States and able to work on a 1099 contract basis.
