We have a Fortune 200 Dairy Food Manufacturing client that has an opening for a Human Resources leadership position for a large 24/7 365-day food manufacturing complex (3 plants on 40 acres) in the Central California area. The HR Manager is a business partner with a goal to improve the effectiveness and business results of the operation. The Manager provides HR services to approximately 500 hourly union and 80 management and office staff employees. Provides work direction to HR staff of five.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or closely related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years in Human Resources manufacturing/production experience including experience in a union facility.
  • Large company HR experience.
  • California labor law experience.
  • Experience managing an HR Team.
  • Coaching leadership to engage employees and solve employee relations issues.
  • Strong collaboration, facilitation, and leadership skills as well as demonstrated ability to exercise judgement and discretion while maintaining good working relationships with all levels of employees.
  • PHR or SPHR highly desirable.
The company offers a generous compensation package ($160K - $170k plus 15% bonus potential), benefits package and an outstanding relocation package.
