Warehouse Manager II Overview
Oversees all operations in the warehouse (less than 4mm cases), including, but not limited to bulk, route, and transport loading and all full, good, and raw material inventory control access up to three (3) shifts 24/7.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Directs the planning, strategic goals, and objectives of the warehouse department.
- Performs full range of managerial duties for employees supervised including coaching/counseling, hiring, terminating, and employee development.
- Provides service to sales (all loading responsibilities).
- Performs inventory control.
- Meets staffing requirements to plan.
- Responsible for Food Safety where applicable.
- Oversees all operations in the warehouse (greater than 2,000,000 cases of annual sales that are loaded by the facility) including, but not limited to; Sales Loading, Transport Loading, all inventories and Facility Safety and Security across all shifts and all days (24/7).
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent or Associates degree and five (5) years of warehouse experience required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Beverage industry experience preferred.
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Three (3) years SAP experience preferred.
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
- Must be able to direct and motivate others.
- Must have good troubleshooting skills.
- Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
- The ability to multi-task and set priorities is required.
- Must pay close attention to details.
- Must be able to satisfactory complete Forklift/Powered Industrial Truck Certification.
- Must be able to travel 10%.
- Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
