The RoleOur Client is seeking a Division Order Analyst to join their growing team in Morgantown, WV. This position is vital to ensuring accurate revenue distribution and maintaining strong relationships with royalty and working interest owners. You will review and interpret complex land documents, resolve ownership issues, and maintain precise revenue and billing records. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven professional with experience in Appalachian Basin division orders to make a direct impact on financial accuracy and owner relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze title opinions, leases, joint operating agreements, and other land-related contracts to determine ownership interests.

  • Identify curative measures needed to resolve ownership issues.

  • Build, update, and maintain accurate revenue and joint interest billing decks.

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for royalty and working interest owners, handling inquiries and providing clear, professional communication.

  • Research and resolve suspense items related to ownership and legal documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal division order regulations.

  • Maintain organized digital land files and generate reports as needed.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience considered in place of formal education.

  • At least 3 years of division order experience within the Appalachian Basin.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across teams and with external stakeholders.

  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
