Our client, a prominent law firm recognized in the 2024 edition of Best Law Firms®, is seeking a highly-motivated Associate Attorney to join their Labor & Employment team in Los Angeles. This role provides an exciting opportunity to handle a range of sophisticated litigation matters, working on cutting-edge legal issues for interesting clients across multiple industries.

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in California
  • 2+ years of substantive experience in civil litigation in CA, including discovery and motion practice
  • Trial and trial preparation experience is ideal
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
  • Desire to be part of a busy national practice, demonstrating initiative and the ability to assume responsibility for matters while collaborating with a team
  • Exposure to FEHA, agency complaints, wage & hour, and related employment law matters is advantageous
 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in a wide range of complex labor and employment matters
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on wage & hour class litigation and single plaintiff employment litigation
  • Collaborate with a large team of experienced attorneys to deliver high-quality legal services
  • Develop innovative legal solutions for clients and contribute to a rapidly-growing national practice

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $155,000 – $250,000, as determined by experience and market factors
  • Bonus eligibility
