Join a leading North American Distributor, renowned for producing top-quality kitchen and bathroom plumbing products used around the world, as a Bilingual (French) Customer Service Representative. This is hybrid position that offers you to be part of a dynamic team.

 

As a Bilingual (French/English) Customer Service Representative, you’ll play a key role in ensuring exceptional service by processing and entering orders with accuracy and speed, resolving customer claims, and communicating effectively via phone and email. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with teams in Sales, Finance, Distribution, and Marketing to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and maintain inventory integrity.

 

Bilingual Customer Service Representative Details: 

  • Salary: Up to $60,000 based on qualifications
  • Hybrid – 1–2 days per week in office
  • Benefits from Day 1
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • RRSP: 3% employer after 1 year + up to 5% match
  • 2 weeks of vacation with the option to buy a 3rd week

 

Bilingual Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter customer orders using appropriate systems and methods, ensuring correct quantities, pricing, and part numbers
  • Resolve discrepancies by working with internal departments and customers
  • Enter debits in the Debit Log and investigate validity of claims
  • Issue credits/debits or disallowed letters in line with company policy
  • Ensure return documentation is completed, and goods are received before credit is issued
  • Collaborate with A/R to resolve deductions and support inventory adjustments
  • Respond to inquiries by phone and email, including order status, product information, claims, returns, pricing, and account details
  • Ensure timely and professional communication to maintain positive customer relationships
  • Correct EDI inbound errors
  • Assist Planning department with new product order entry
  • Update Aged Trial Balance with credit data
  • Support other administrative tasks as needed

 

Bilingual Customer Service Representative Qualification: 

  • College degree and/or 2-3 years of experience in Accounting or Customer Service
  • Fluent in French and English (verbal & written)
  • Experience with SAP order entry and proficient in Word, Excel, and Analysis for Office
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work both independently and in a team

This position requires someone with excellent customer service skills who is comfortable handling inquiries both over the phone and by email.
