Horizon Computer Solutions Inc. is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking an accountant who can help guide both administrative and financial functions our business. 

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior to Intermediate Bookkeeping Resource / Admin to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the team with various administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

·       Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
·       Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
·       Prepare and submit tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
·       Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
·       Manage invoices, processing and reporting on expenses, and purchase orders.
·       Provide administrative support, including filing, scheduling and ordering office materials.
·       Support the team with various ad-hoc tasks, events and projects as needed.
·       Liaise with external vendors, clients, sub-contractors and stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues.

 

Qualifications:

·       Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
·       1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
·       Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
·       Experience with Connectwise is an asset.
·       Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·       Knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations is an asset.
 
Working Conditions :-
·       Full-time position with standard office hours at our Saskatoon office.
·       Occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
