Role Overview
Responsible for managing IT projects through all phases of the project life cycle, ensuring compliance with Cameco processes and delivering successful outcomes. This contract is for a year with potential of extension.
Location - Saskatoon
Key Responsibilities
- Manage IT project work across all phases:
- Initiation
- Detailed Planning
- Execution
- Monitoring & Control
- Closure
- Complete project status reports and documentation required for the client processes.
Project Management Activities
- Build and manage project schedules; assign and track tasks for core team members.
- Conduct project stand-ups and bi-weekly management updates.
- Apply project management processes for:
- Scope
- Integration
- Time
- Cost
- Risk
- Quality
- Human Resources
- Communication
- Procurement
- Manage project issues, actions, risks, and key decision items.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven IT project management expertise (technical and people skills).
- Proficiency in:
- MS Project for the Web
- Jira
- SAP (for financial data access and reporting)
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
