We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to immerse yourself in various HR functions, focusing on payroll management and benefits administration while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute the company’s payroll processes, including accurate calculation of employee earnings and deductions for both exempt and non-exempt employees.
  • Ensure timely and compliant payroll policies, maintain comprehensive employee records, and resolve payroll-related issues adhering to employment laws.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including data entry, report generation, and employee records updates.
  • Collaborate with the accounting department to coordinate financial processes.
  • Serve as a resource for HR team members, management, and staff during complex or sensitive situations, offering guidance on issues such as accommodations, investigations, and terminations.
  • Prepare HR correspondence and respond to employee inquiries effectively.
  • Evaluate existing HR procedures and tools to identify improvements and recommend best practices.
  • Assist in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Support organizational business goals by performing additional tasks as directed by senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing payroll and electronic timekeeping systems, specifically using ADP Workforce and ADP Payroll Software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, INDEX, and MATCH.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP are a plus but not mandatory.
