Job Description: Ultrasound Technologist

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations based on physician orders, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Operate sophisticated ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.
  • Apply clinical judgment to assess patient-specific and age-related needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to communicate findings effectively.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Licenses: Oregon Sonographer License upon hire.
  • Certifications:
  • BLS certification.
  • Board eligible for certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • Preferred Experience:
  • 2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
  • Experience in OBGYN sonography.
  • Multi-registered as RVT and/or RDCS a plus.
