Job Description
- Prepare and dispense medications for inpatients and outpatients.
- Ensure medication safety through monitoring and consulting with healthcare teams.
- Provide pharmaceutical care and support clinical staff in managing patient treatments.
- Evening shifts: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (occasionally 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM).
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 2 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
- Education: BS in Pharmacy required, PharmD preferred.
- Licenses: Must hold or be able to obtain a New York Pharmacist License.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with EPIC systems (not required).
