A well established Albuquerque-based company is seeking an experienced HR and Administrative Manager to oversee the day-to-day human resources functions while supporting general accounting and administrative operations. This role requires a detail oriented and proactive professional who can manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and ensure efficient daily business operations with minimal supervision.
 
Responsibilities For HR and Administrative Manager:
  • Oversee all aspects of employee relations, onboarding, and offboarding

  • Manage payroll processing, timekeeping, and benefits administration

  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws

  • Assist with recruitment, interviewing, and coordination of new hires

  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and HR-related issues

  • Assist with accounts payable/receivable and invoice processing

  • Track expenses, reconcile credit card statements, and support budget reporting

  • Coordinate with external accountants on payroll and monthly financials

  • Manage office operations including supplies, scheduling, and communications

  • Support leadership with correspondence, reports, and general administrative tasks

  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems

  • Coordinate company meetings, staff communications, and vendor relations

 
Qualifications For HR and Administrative Manager:
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR, accounting, or administrative management

  • Knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and payroll processes

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); QuickBooks experience preferred

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality

  • Bilingual preferred (Not required)
  • Experience in construction administration preferred 
 
Compensation For HR and Administrative Manager:
$36.06-$38.46 Hourly (DOE)
