Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing safety programs focused on minimizing workplace incidents and promoting a proactive safety culture.
• Support compliance efforts by maintaining safety records and documentation in line with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Help monitor key safety metrics and participate in identifying areas for improvement.
• Conduct basic safety inspections to ensure workplace hazards are managed effectively, including monitoring exposure to chemicals and noise.
• Provide administrative support for safety training, including scheduling sessions, preparing materials, and updating training records.
• Distribute safety bulletins and communicate updates to employees to enhance safety awareness.
• Assist in preparing reports for OSHA compliance and support internal audits or safety inspections as needed.
• Act as a liaison for employee safety inquiries and direct any complex issues to senior safety staff.
• Perform other general safety-related duties and support projects as directed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree or coursework in Environmental Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field is a plus.
• Up to 3 years of experience in a safety or administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations and general health and safety guidelines.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage documentation.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with team members at all levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and comfortable with data entry and basic reporting tasks.
