Senior Controls Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Drive the development, installation, and commissioning of plant controls and automation systems.
• Provide technical support for controls and automation systems, ensuring seamless operation.
• Design and specify plant control system architecture, setting high standards for efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with third-party controls engineering partners to achieve project goals.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 6 years' experience in controls and automation engineering within the manufacturing industries in food, chemical or other relatable industries 
• Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC programming and advanced HMI development, such as Wonderware.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles like Archestra.
• Experience with process control panel design for user interfaces and specifications.
• Experience with working in FDA regulated facilities and clean environments and CIP cleaning systems.
• Expertise in Wonderware MES, .NET programming, SQL databases, and Ethernet/IP communication.
• Excellent communication skills and desire to work in a team environment exchanging ideas, fostering innovation and working with manufacturing hourly and  management teams. 

Employment Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline.
• Willingness to travel occasionally but under 25%
• US Citizen or Green card authorization NO Sponsorship is offered.
