PROCESS SAFETY ENGINEER

Global manufacturer of agricultural plant-based ingredients and excipients used in the food, pharmaceutical, and nutritional products industries is looking for a full time Process Safety Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PSM, OSHA, and Root Cause Analysis. Experience in the chemical, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical industries is preferred. A Process Safety Engineer's job responsibilities include pursuing a deep understanding of process and design of the manufacturing process and must be able to solve problems and evaluate the operating process for compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferable Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or other engineering
• 1-5 years of experience in the chemical, petrochemical, beverage, or pharmaceutical industries
• Proficiency in PSM, OSHA, and Root Cause Analysis
• Understanding of PSM, OSHA, NFPA, ASME, API standards and codes
• Knowledge of RAGAGEP (Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
