Process Safety Engineer

This chemical production company is looking for an experienced PSM Engineer for its modern chemical production facility. The Process Safety Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation of a chemical facility, with a particular focus on adhering to Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP) regulations.

The Work:

The PSM Engineer is responsible for all aspects of Process Safety Management on site, including:

• Making a significant impact on safety by ensuring compliance with PSM and RMP regulations.
• Leading the way in all 14 elements of PSM, from hazard analysis to emergency planning.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build and maintain robust safety programs.
• Conducting thorough risk assessments to identify and manage potential hazards.
• Shaping the future by organizing Process Hazard Analysis studies and drills.
• Championing process safety training programs for all employees.

Applicant Background Requested:

• B.S in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in process safety or PSM facilities.
• In-depth knowledge of PSM and regulatory requirements.
• Exhibit strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA indefinitely without sponsorship (sorry, no F1, H1B, or other temporary work authorization).
