Our firm is working with an established Home Health Care organization in Genesee County to fill open positions for Home Health RNs. This position is primarily day shift, with optional evening hours you can pick up as desired. You will be assisting patients who have been discharged from the hospital but have ongoing needs for nursing care. Your duties would include:

• Driving to patient homes (basic expectation is 5-8 patients daily; you can do more for more pay)
• Provide care including medication instruction, venipuncture, IV setup, wound dressing/redressing, etc.
• Educate and direct patients on medication and general recovery

The ideal candidate:

• Holds a valid nursing license in the State of Michigan, or can obtain one
• Has experience in home health, ICU, or ED nursing
• Has a valid driver's license and clean record
• Is looking for a role where they can work independently and set their own schedule
• Is self-directed, self-motivated, and organized
• Is caring and compassionate, but firm and can set boundaries

Compensation is on a per-visit basis, plus mileage reimbursement; with typical patient loads, you can expect to make around $85,000/year. Our client offers great flexibility with working hours plus full benefits including Medical/Dental/Vision/PTO/401(K)/Short Term Disability/Life Insurance.
