What Will You Do?

You will have an important support role in our Advanced Thermal Systems team, as we work with our customers to define the future of commercial electric vehicles. You will lead the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) activities for the Advanced Thermal Systems team. You will establish, manage, review and maintain production schedules for assigned work areas to meet customer demand. This role is based in Lawrenceburg, TN and will report to the Advanced Thermal Systems Business Unit Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage SIOP process for all Advanced Thermal Systems production lines and will lead regular reviews with cross-functional team

• Develop material strategies that meet customer requirements, company targets and creates stability across the supply chain

• Monitor market trends and identify important supply disruption points in upstream value chain and create a strategy for mitigation

• Engage frequently with customers, suppliers, and teams across the company

• Demand Management of finished goods inventory and replenishment planning.

• Manage component, supplies and logistics to assure that daily production schedules are maintained.

• Use SAP and other resources to track customer requirements and work with the Buyers to facilitate on-time delivery of components and on-time shipping performance to customers.

• Maintain inventory levels for productive material consistent with production schedules and management directives

• Actively involved with cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy

• Propose and support implementation of cost reduction and delivery improvement projects

• Comply with the Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies

• Complete special assignments as required

• Travel: less than 5%

QUALIFICATIONS

• A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Logistics, Operations, Business, Accounting or other technical field

• At least two (2) years Materials Control and/or Buyer experience working with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software; experience with SAP

• Computer literate, with Excel proficiency.

• Understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 and how it relates to the materials group is beneficial
