Our firm has been exclusively engaged by a Made in the USA manufacturer and distributor serving the power equipment industry to find a Territory Manager. As a work-from-home employee, you must be willing to travel to corporate headquarters, facilities, and customers throughout the midwest. You will be provided with a company vehicle and the company will cover all vehicle costs, including gas. The company is flexible with expectations of customers' desires to speak over video and meet face-to-face. The bulk of customers are already in place so there is no need to build a whole new book of business; however, you will be expected to cold call periodically. This position offers a generous base of $55-70k, plus 10% profit sharing commissions and benefits.    

Responsibilities

  • Marketing and sales of components to the power equipment, automotive, ATV and motorcycle OEM’s.

  • Quoting new business opportunities and engineering design changes.

  • Purchase order/contract review for piece price, tooling, timing, terms, and conditions

  • Negotiating economic issues (increases and reductions) with OEM purchasing management teams.

  • Midwestern USA Territory includes Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, and Kansas

Qualifications

  • 2+ years sales and cold calling experience preferred 

  • Strong verbal and written communication  

  • Personable and outgoing personality 

  • Mechanically inclined individuals are desired
