Our client is a leading provider of automation solutions seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team and contribute to growth across various industrial applications. This position allows for remote work anywhere in the northeastern USA, with travel to customers within your designated territory.

 

The ideal candidate will be a motivated engineer with solid experience in technical sales, specifically in automation technology.

 

Responsibilities

  • Seek out and pursue new sales opportunities to grow the customer base in your region.
  • Oversee the territory, which includes MA, NY, CT, RI, NH, VT, ME, PA, NY, DE, and MD.
  • Work in collaboration with a technical engineering team located in the US and Germany to design and implement innovative automation solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients in industries such as automotive, electronics, 3D printing, and aerospace.
  • Manage both internal and external projects to ensure they are executed efficiently and on time.
  • Create detailed quotes customized to meet customer specifications.
  • Deliver outstanding customer support to build long-lasting relationships.
  • Represent the company at important trade shows and industry events to boost visibility and networking opportunities.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, ideally in mechanical, process, or mechatronics.
  • At least 2 years of experience in technical sales, with a focus on automation technology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in CRM software, preferably Salesforce.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address complex technical issues.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, training sessions, and industry events.
