A global leader in fluid systems products is seeking a remote MRO Account Manager based in SE Michigan or NW Ohio. Products include fittings, valves, hoses, flexible tubing, and related assemblies.
The role involves managing a $2.5M book of business while driving new growth (60% business development / 40% account management), ideal for a self-starter with a consultative, technical sales approach.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and grow an existing $2.5M portfolio of accounts
· Develop new business opportunities across fluid handling and processing industries
· Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular, face-to-face interactions
· Deliver consultative, technical sales presentations tailored to customer needs
· Collaborate with engineering support to provide customized solutions
· Identify opportunities for significant account growth and strategic wins
· Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline management
Qualifications
· 3–10 years of technical sales experience with industrial or fluid system products
· Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts
· Strong consultative sales skills with excellent presentation abilities
· Technical background with the ability to serve as a product expert to customers
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering preferred (other technical/business degrees considered)
· Experience with SAP a plus
