Work with a global automotive supplier with over 100 manufacturing facilities throughout US, Canada and Mexico, located in Spartanburg, SC.

They are seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician (2:00pm - 10:00pm, Monday - Friday) to join their growing team!

Summary:

As the Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing production equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting the achievement of production targets.

Tasks:

·       Share responsibility for achieving production targets (OEE) through preventive maintenance and optimization of production plants.

·       Procure and manage spare parts while ensuring compliance with all legal standards and safety regulations.

·       Analyze weak points and risks, implementing appropriate remedial measures and participating in FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).

·       Teach and program robots (KUKA) and monitor the assembly and installation of new equipment and facility conversions.

·       Independently implement projects related to conversion and repair work, demonstrating technical competence in automation technology and plant engineering.

·       Maintain compliance with MAFACT, IATF16949, and ISO 14001 certifications, while ensuring occupational safety, health protection, and a safe work environment.

·       Train other employees as needed and maintain responsibility for 5S within the plant.

·       Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

·       Degree in a technical field or 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance technician, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

·       Experience in a manufacturing environment, automotive preferred.

·       Experience robot programming (KUKA preferred).

·       Proficiency in pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

·       Programming knowledge.

·       SAP knowledge preferred.

·       Experience welding steel preferred.
