About the Role: The Maintenance Manager will oversee all activities of the Maintenance team utilizing robotic state of the are technology that will achieve optimal levels of safety, quality, productivity and delivery to assure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the company’s mission, values, and goals through daily leadership and collaboration
Lead, coach, and mentor the maintenance team; provide feedback and corrective action as needed
Oversee preventive and emergency maintenance programs and equipment changeovers
Coordinate repair, installation, and upkeep of machinery, buildings, and utility systems
Ensure team members have the tools and materials needed for safe, efficient work
Drive productivity, quality, and cost improvements; resolve operational issues
Partner with engineering and external vendors on installations and project execution
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Maintain compliance with OSHA and company policies
Represent the company with customers, suppliers, and contractors as needed
Participate in root cause analysis and team problem-solving initiatives
Maintain clean work areas and positive cross-functional relationships
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent experience. Masters degree preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Maintenance Manager, preferably in the automotive industry or equivalent experience.
Technical knowledge of robotic welding assembly and servo press manufacturing.
Knowledge of automotive equipment, preventive and predictive maintenance processes.
Excellent organizational, analytical, written and communication skills.
Ability to mentor the team in effective problem solving.
Proven leadership ability and excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to interpret financial and performance data.
Possess knowledge of plant department functions and corresponding roles and interact to facilitate overall plant synergy.
Excellent procedure development and writing skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.
