\nAs a Radiology Technologist, you’ll perform diagnostic imaging studies with accuracy, care, and compassion for patients of all ages—from infants to seniors. You’ll use your technical expertise and professional judgment to:
\nOperate radiographic, portable imaging, and related equipment with precision
\nProduce high-quality images, ensuring accurate positioning and adherence to procedure guidelines
\nApply proper radiation safety protocols for patients, staff, and yourself
\nUtilize RIS, CR, and PACS systems for data entry, image review, and troubleshooting
\nAdminister contrast media safely, recognizing and responding to any adverse reactions
\nMaintain infection control standards according to Universal Precautions
\nDemonstrate flexibility in taking emergency call rotations for evenings, weekends, and holidays
\nEducation:
\nGraduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or AAS in Radiologic Technology
\nLicenses & Certifications:
\nNYS Radiologic Technologist license (required)
\nARRT certification (required)
\nExperience:
\nCompletion of a recognized 24-month Radiology program (new grads welcome)
