About the Opportunity

She Recruits is actively seeking a seasoned and strategic Administrative Director of Surgical Services for a respected acute care hospital. This is a high-level leadership role ideal for an RN with a passion for operational excellence, team development, and delivering outstanding surgical care.

In this position, you will oversee perioperative services across multiple specialties, lead high-performing teams, and play a key role in driving strategic growth, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute the strategic direction for Surgical Services in alignment with organizational goals

  • Develop and maintain strong physician and executive leadership relationships

  • Mentor and support a multidisciplinary team, including department directors and clinical leaders

  • Lead performance improvement and ensure high-quality, evidence-based patient care

  • Drive operational excellence in areas such as staff engagement, patient safety, and service line development

  • Manage compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and hospital standards

  • Support talent development and succession planning for perioperative leadership roles

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required

  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred

  • Current RN license in good standing

  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in surgical services within an acute care setting

  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and drive service line growth

  • CNOR and/or CSSM certification preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $115,000 – $175,000 (based on experience)

  • Annual Bonus Opportunity: Up to 15% of base salary

  • Sign-On & Relocation Assistance: Negotiable
