She Recruits is actively seeking a seasoned and strategic Administrative Director of Surgical Services for a respected acute care hospital. This is a high-level leadership role ideal for an RN with a passion for operational excellence, team development, and delivering outstanding surgical care.
In this position, you will oversee perioperative services across multiple specialties, lead high-performing teams, and play a key role in driving strategic growth, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
Establish and execute the strategic direction for Surgical Services in alignment with organizational goals
Develop and maintain strong physician and executive leadership relationships
Mentor and support a multidisciplinary team, including department directors and clinical leaders
Lead performance improvement and ensure high-quality, evidence-based patient care
Drive operational excellence in areas such as staff engagement, patient safety, and service line development
Manage compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and hospital standards
Support talent development and succession planning for perioperative leadership roles
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required
Master’s degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
Current RN license in good standing
Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in surgical services within an acute care setting
Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and drive service line growth
CNOR and/or CSSM certification preferred
Full-service acute care hospital with a robust surgical program
Multiple operating rooms supporting general surgery, orthopedics, urology, GYN, neuro, and advanced robotic procedures
Dedicated surgical teams and access to advanced technology and equipment
Strong commitment to quality outcomes, innovation, and staff development
Salary Range: $115,000 – $175,000 (based on experience)
Annual Bonus Opportunity: Up to 15% of base salary
Sign-On & Relocation Assistance: Negotiable
