About the Opportunity

She Recruits is partnering with a forward-thinking healthcare facility to find an experienced Labor & Delivery Nurse Manager to lead a dedicated team in delivering high-quality, patient-centered maternal care. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinical leader who is passionate about patient experience, evidence-based practice, and staff development.

As the Nurse Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment. Your leadership will directly contribute to positive patient outcomes and operational efficiency within one of the hospital’s most vital departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day clinical and operational functions of the Labor & Delivery unit, ensuring consistent, high-quality care

  • Provide real-time leadership to clinical staff, managing performance and supporting professional development

  • Drive quality improvement efforts and clinical practice standardization to support exceptional patient outcomes

  • Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and teamwork across the department

  • Manage staffing, scheduling, admissions, and discharges to ensure efficient patient throughput

  • Lead interdisciplinary care coordination and ensure staff assignments align with clinical competencies and patient needs

  • Monitor compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, ensuring adherence to organizational policies

  • Foster a superior patient experience by responding to patient feedback and implementing targeted service improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Leadership preferred

  • Active RN license (or compact license) in good standing

  • Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience in healthcare required

  • Minimum 1+ year of leadership experience in a Labor & Delivery setting required

  • Specialty certification in Women’s Health or OB (required within 6 months of hire)

  • Strong communication and team-building skills with a passion for delivering outstanding maternal care
