Nurse Manager – Labor & DeliveryFull-Time | Acute Care Setting | Leadership Opportunity in Women’s Services
She Recruits is partnering with a forward-thinking healthcare facility to find an experienced Labor & Delivery Nurse Manager to lead a dedicated team in delivering high-quality, patient-centered maternal care. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinical leader who is passionate about patient experience, evidence-based practice, and staff development.
As the Nurse Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment. Your leadership will directly contribute to positive patient outcomes and operational efficiency within one of the hospital’s most vital departments.
Oversee day-to-day clinical and operational functions of the Labor & Delivery unit, ensuring consistent, high-quality care
Provide real-time leadership to clinical staff, managing performance and supporting professional development
Drive quality improvement efforts and clinical practice standardization to support exceptional patient outcomes
Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and teamwork across the department
Manage staffing, scheduling, admissions, and discharges to ensure efficient patient throughput
Lead interdisciplinary care coordination and ensure staff assignments align with clinical competencies and patient needs
Monitor compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, ensuring adherence to organizational policies
Foster a superior patient experience by responding to patient feedback and implementing targeted service improvements
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required
Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Leadership preferred
Active RN license (or compact license) in good standing
Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience in healthcare required
Minimum 1+ year of leadership experience in a Labor & Delivery setting required
Specialty certification in Women’s Health or OB (required within 6 months of hire)
Strong communication and team-building skills with a passion for delivering outstanding maternal care
