Director of Surgical Services

Location: Las Vegas, NVJob Type: Full-Time – Days – No WeekendsCompensation: $105,000 – $160,000 annually (based on experience)Bonuses: 15% Director Bonus | Sign-On Bonus: Case by Case | Relocation Assistance: Case by Case

Position Summary:

A leading healthcare facility in Las Vegas is seeking an experienced Director of Surgical Services to oversee perioperative operations and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. This leadership role is responsible for 24/7 management of the department, including clinical performance, operational efficiency, compliance, and staff development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the surgical services team with a focus on patient safety and service excellence

• Identify, resolve, and communicate service-related issues

• Participate in departmental and hospital-wide committees and initiatives

• Coach and evaluate staff, and support career development plans

• Promote employee engagement and build a strong internal culture

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and hospital policies

• Oversee continuous performance improvement and quality initiatives

• Drive departmental growth strategies and defend capital equipment needs

• Manage budgets and ensure responsible use of financial resources

• Promote patient-centered care and service excellence throughout the department

• Maintain a confident, professional presence that inspires trust across teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (required)

• Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (preferred)

• 3+ years in a surgical services leadership role (preferred)

• Current RN license in the state of practice

• CNOR and/or CSSM certification (preferred)
