A successful real estate development and acquisitions firm with a dedication to sustainability is looking for a Chief of Staff/Operations person to manage operations and provide support for personal financial operations. This is an opportunity to work directly with the Founder of the most disruptive land and development platforms in the U.S. The CEO has 3 entities: holdings (land acquisitions and wholesaling), spec & custom homebuilding, and infill flex industrial units for rent. This is a new position and an opportunity to put systems in place. The company will reimburse for an individual health insurance plan. The office is in the Brookhaven/Ashford Park area. Some domestic travel will be required. There is room for growth in the role. Hybrid flexible schedule is available after onboarding.
About the Job:
¨ Drive execution across acquisitions, dispositions, construction, and development
¨ Coordinate freely across departments, vendors, and external partners
¨ Build and enforce SOPs, dashboards, and internal systems across the organization
¨ Manage timelines, deadlines, deliverables, and team accountability across all verticals
¨ Coordinate with VAs, interns, brokers, builders, lenders, attorneys, and vendors daily
¨ Review contracts, send follow-ups, prep paperwork, and support negotiations.
¨ Maintain personal and business financial dashboards and records
¨ Manage credit cards, mortgages, bills, and bookkeeping for multiple properties and entities
¨ Coordinate with legal (estate, asset protection) and financial advisors (CPA, insurance, lenders) and follow up with vendors, contractors, legal, and investors follow-up
¨ Serve as an extension of the Founder in written communication, calls, research, and reporting
¨ Prepare summaries, deal decks, financial reviews, and vendor reports
¨ Monitor priorities and keep the Founder focused the top decisions that matter
¨ Update dashboards weekly across acquisitions, construction, and finances
¨ Track financials across business and personal accounts monthly
¨ Assist with launching new initiatives, investor fundraises, recruiting senior staff, and organizing due diligence or site selection for new markets
¨ Travel to walk job sites, closings, or vendor meetings as needed
About You:
¨ Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related support position
¨ BA/BS from a college or university a plus
¨ Strong understanding of finance, real estate acquisitions, construction, and asset management is a plus
¨ Tech-savvy and comfortable building and managing systems
¨ Experience using Google Suite, Excel/QuickBooks, CRM systems (GoHighLevel, Salesforce, or Airtable), Slack, Zoom, Trello/Notion/ClickUp, DocuSign, Zapier, Gusto
¨ Dynamic and proactive comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
¨ Polished, professional demeanor
¨ Proactive go-getter; no task is too big or too small
¨ Outstanding communication skills
