Executive Assistant to General Counsel, Denver, CO
A privately-owned, high-technology conglomerate operating in various industries is seeking a detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support the General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel in their downtown Denver, CO office. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient operation of the legal department, coordination of corporate governance matters, and general administrative support for senior executives. The ideal candidate is discreet, organized, and proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
About the Job:
· Provide comprehensive administrative support to legal executives, including calendar management, travel arrangements, expense reporting, and CLE tracking.
· Support Board of Directors meetings, including preparation and distribution of materials using board management software, maintenance of Corporate Board books, and coordination of all logistics for board and shareholder meetings. Independently manage all Diligent platform responsibilities and board meeting uploads.
· Manage the operations of a non-operating entity, including monthly report filing and invoice processing.
· Maintain organized and up-to-date physical and electronic legal records and files.
· Assist in coordinating legal team operations and contribute to process improvements.
· Act as a team player by providing back-up support to other assistants and collaborating on office-wide initiatives and event planning.
About You:
· Minimum of five years’ experience supporting C-level executives in a corporate environment, with preference for experience in a legal department.
· BA/BS from a college or university is a plus.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
· Experience with Diligent or similar board management platforms is a plus.
· Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and act with urgency.
· Strong attention to detail and a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
· Dependable, punctual, and dedicated with a strong sense of responsibility.
· Self-starter with the ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and work independently.
· Flexible and adaptable to change; eager to learn and master new systems.
· Polished, professional demeanor.
· Proactive go-getter – no task is too big or too small.
