A successful consulting firm is looking for an Executive Assistant to the CEO and CAO. In addition to traditional support functions for the executives, the role will operate as a strategic partner - managing priorities, driving clarity, ensuring follow-through, and creating leverage for the executives. This is a great opportunity to operate at the center of a growing company’s decision-making, innovation, and momentum. You’ll play a critical role in extending the reach and effectiveness of executive leadership while gaining visibility into what it takes to lead at the highest level. This role is based in-person in the NYC office in Midtown East at least 4 days a week. The firm has a collaborative culture and is a nice place to work.

 

About the Job:

¨     Vet and prioritize the CEO’s emails and draft responses

¨     Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

¨     Screen incoming phone calls delivering detailed, timely messages to the appropriate parties

¨     Proactively manage the executive’s calendar with a strategic eye—maximizing impact, balancing time across internal and external commitments, and protecting focus time

¨     Schedule and prepare for meetings by organizing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items

¨     Coordinate travel, meetings, and events, ensuring logistics are seamless

¨     Support the end-to-end coordination of external client-facing events, including interfacing with external vendors

¨     Develop timelines, track deliverables, and coordinate with internal teams to drive progress

¨     Prepare, organize, and follow up on meetings, ensuring decisions are tracked and next steps are actioned

¨     Serve as a connector across the organization, ensuring the executive has the right context and data to make decisions

¨     Lead the coordination of board and executive meetings with a high degree of attention to detail

¨     Help shape internal communications, presentations, and key documents, including the development of spreadsheets and polished PowerPoint documents in support of executive needs

¨     Draft briefings, summaries, and prep materials to enable effective meetings and strategic choices

¨     Create presentation slides

 

About You:

¨     Minimum of  7 years of experience in a related support position

¨     BA/BS from a college or university

¨     Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

¨     Dynamic and proactive comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

¨     Polished, professional demeanor

¨     Proactive go-getter; no task is too big or too small

¨     Outstanding communication skills
