Accountant (2-Month Contract with Potential for Permanent Hire)

What You’ll Do:

• Manage financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

• Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts.

• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts.

• Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance processes.

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial reporting and streamline processes.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience (construction or real estate industry experience a plus).

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, financial modeling, data analysis).

• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
