We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven PCR Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in selling Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) testing solutions to podiatrists and foot & ankle specialists. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and educating healthcare providers on the benefits of PCR testing for diagnosing and treating podiatric infections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to promote PCR testing services to podiatry offices, foot & ankle clinics, and related healthcare providers.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers, including podiatrists, practice managers, and laboratory directors.
  • Provide in-depth education on the clinical and financial benefits of PCR testing for podiatric infections, including diabetic foot ulcers, fungal infections, and wound management.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, lunch-and-learns, and in-office training sessions to drive awareness and adoption.
  • Maintain a high level of industry knowledge, staying informed about regulatory changes, reimbursement policies, and competitive products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including laboratory operations and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through prospecting, cold calling, and relationship management.
  • Document sales activities and customer interactions in CRM software for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Provide exceptional post-sale support, addressing any concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Healthcare, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3+ years of medical sales experience, preferably in diagnostic testing, laboratory services, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Existing relationships within the podiatry community or experience selling to podiatrists is a strong plus.
  • Strong understanding of molecular diagnostics, infectious disease testing, or wound care management is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a field-based role.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
