Overview:

This role supports the mission of improving diagnostic accuracy in oncology through the sale of advanced diagnostic services and products. The Clinical Oncology Specialist will be responsible for driving sales growth within a defined geographic territory, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting the overall business strategy.

The company operates two divisions:

  • A Clinical Diagnostics Division offering comprehensive diagnostic services through a CLIA/CAP-certified laboratory for oncologists and hospitals.

  • A Diagnostic Products Division developing and selling proprietary diagnostic tools to laboratories to enhance diagnostic accuracy and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve revenue targets within assigned geographic area through direct sales and territory management.

  • Execute sales strategies as defined by the VP of Sales to drive adoption of diagnostic services and products.

  • Maintain consistent communication with internal leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Expand sales within existing accounts and develop new business opportunities.

  • Monitor competitor activity and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

  • Conduct presentations and educational meetings with physicians, lab directors, and executive decision-makers.

  • Analyze territory performance and contribute to strategic planning and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic sales, preferably in Hematology or Oncology, with a proven track record.

  • Established relationships with oncology referral sources strongly preferred.

  • Ability to manage a fast-paced, sales-driven environment and consistently exceed targets.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills across diverse audiences, including clinicians and executives.

  • Solid understanding of diagnostic products, lab operations, and healthcare systems.

  • Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Willingness to travel as required for territory coverage, sales calls, and company meetings.
