As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business growth within long-term care facilities, such as nursing homes, assisted living centers, and rehabilitation centers. You will identify opportunities to provide comprehensive diagnostic services, build strong relationships with key decision-makers, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. This is a client-facing role that combines strategic sales, relationship management, and market development.
Sales & Market Expansion:
Identify and prospect new long-term care facilities to sell laboratory services
Develop and execute targeted strategies to penetrate new accounts and grow existing business within assigned territories.
Conduct in-person meetings, virtual presentations, and negotiations with key decision-makers (e.g., administrators, medical directors, and nursing leadership).
Account Management & Relationship Building:
Develop strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders in long-term care facilities to become a trusted partner for their lab service needs.
Understand the specific needs of each client and customize laboratory solutions to meet their requirements, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
Provide ongoing customer support, including handling issues related to service quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
Product Knowledge & Training:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's laboratory services and solutions.
Educate facility staff on the benefits of using [Company Name]’s lab services and provide relevant product training to clients as needed.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that may impact the long-term care sector.
Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts to management.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
Work closely with the marketing, customer service, and laboratory operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new clients.
Participate in industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and generate leads.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within healthcare, laboratory services, or a related field.
Experience selling into long-term care facilities, nursing homes, or senior care organizations is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of the needs and challenges facing long-term care facilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven with a passion for sales.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred.
