About the Role:

Are you passionate about sales and eager to make a significant impact in the healthcare industry? We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Account Executive to join our team in the vibrant city of Nashville. This exciting opportunity involves promoting and selling cutting-edge laboratory diagnostic products, with a focus on Molecular Diagnostics, particularly in settings like urgent care and clinics treating infectious diseases.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets with enthusiasm and dedication.
  • Strategically plan and manage your territory to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts each month.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calls and visits to medical practices.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clinicians and medical staff, focusing on trust and credibility.
  • Develop and nurture Connected Opinion Leaders (COLs) within your territory.
  • Maintain detailed records of daily activities, sales strategies, and reports using the company's CRM system.
  • Participate in sales meetings, trade shows, and training sessions as needed to stay ahead in the field.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in laboratory diagnostics sales is essential, with a preference for candidates experienced in Molecular Diagnostics.
  • Strong background in sales to Urology, Urgent Cares, Infectious Disease, and similar medical practices is required.
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to achieving goals.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments and procedures.
  • Self-driven, passionate, and innovative in your approach to sales.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including overnight stays.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years of proven success in sales or marketing roles.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Backgrounds in Medical Sales, Laboratory Sales, Molecular Diagnostics, or Anatomic Pathology are highly valued.
  • Candidates from related fields, such as medical devices, are encouraged to apply if they have relevant contacts and experience.
