Our Non-Profit client in Norristown, Pa is looking for an Accounting/Administrative Coordinator to join their team. This is a Direct Hire Hybrid role (three days in the office and two remote), which salary up to 60k and excellent benefits, including FULLY paid Health and Dental coverage, 3 weeks vacation, plus 10 sick days and MORE!

This role requires strong technical and analytical skills, especially in Excel and QuickBooks, along with the ability to be precise, thorough, and methodical in reviewing and reconciling financial records. This person serves as the primary contact to outside vendors and investors and works to improve existing procedures to enhance quality, accuracy, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, reconcile, and conduct accuracy reviews of fund accounting reports to ensure reliable reporting and compliance.
  • Handle all accounts payable and receivable processes with precision.
  • Interface with investors, including overseeing and processing withdrawal requests in accordance with governing documents.
  • Manage third-party relationships and ensure vendors meet agreed terms and conditions.
  • Prepare and compile meeting minutes for all board meetings.
  • Work closely with the Executive Director to implement policies, procedures, and systems, and follow through on execution.
  • Manage website and social media sites.
  • Perform other administrative duties as requested.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (or extensive related experience preferred).
  • Operations or administration experience required.
  • Established Excel skills (formulas, reconciliations) and QuickBooks proficiency required.
  • Demonstrated ability to reconcile, validate, and review fund accounting reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, thoroughness, and process orientation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, database management, and social media tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility to attend occasional evening meetings and conferences.
