Of Counsel / Junior Partner – Construction LitigationLocation: Orlando, FL

Our client, a leading AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Of Counsel or Junior Partner to join their Construction Litigation Group in Orlando. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team that handles complex construction litigation matters.

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Bar Admission in Florida (required).
  • 10+ years of substantive litigation experience in construction-related matters.
  • Extensive experience representing contractors, developers, and owners in construction litigation, payment disputes, design and defect claims, and contract negotiations.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Tackles tasks with a productive and optimistic mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in all aspects of the construction process, including contract preparation and negotiation, risk management, and dispute resolution.
  • Handle litigation matters ranging from contract administration issues to alternative dispute resolution proceedings such as mediation and arbitration.
  • Collaborate with a knowledgeable team on large-scale infrastructure programs and projects, offering risk management and claims analysis.
  • Lead cases through various stages of litigation, including discovery, motions practice, and trial.
