Plant Operations Manager (Food/Beverage/Pharma/CPG)

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Plant Operations Manager to join our team at a leading manufacturing facility in the Food and Beverage industry. This role offers a significant leadership opportunity with the potential to rapidly advance to a Plant Manager position. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in driving operational efficiency and team engagement in a large-scale manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and production planning in a fast-paced environment with up to 1,000 employees.
- Directly manage a team of 150–300 employees, with two direct reports, ensuring high performance and engagement.
- Implement standard work processes and lead change management initiatives to enhance operational excellence.
- Promote continuous improvement through disciplined execution and autonomous maintenance.
- Collaborate with HR, Maintenance, Quality, and Continuous Improvement teams to achieve production targets.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical, or CPG manufacturing.
- At least 7 years in operations or plant leadership roles.
- Experience in managing medium-to-large facilities with 400+ employees.
- Strong background in Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Union experience is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead teams in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated passion for developing talent and driving team engagement.
