Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or a special combination of education and demonstrated accomplishments.

• Technical Expertise:

• Thorough understanding of underground power transmission engineering.

• Proficiency in ICEA, AEIC, IEC, and IEEE standards.

• Capability in thermal, mechanical, and electrical field calculations.

• Software Proficiency:

• Expertise in Cymcap, Comsol Multiphysics, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Matlab, PSCAD, Pull Planner, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong programming skills in Visual Basic for coding spreadsheets and macros in Excel.

• Industry Knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of the power transmission cable industry and markets.

• Familiarity with cable materials and testing processes.

• Communication Skills:

• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to effectively interface with customers and leadership.
