Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead and oversee ship repair projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of ship systems and repair processes, as well as a proven track record in managing complex projects within the maritime industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage ship repair programs from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, logistics, and procurement to ensure seamless execution of repair operations.
• Develop detailed project plans, set milestones, and monitor progress against objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout all phases of the repair process.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably within the maritime or ship repair industry.
• Strong understanding of ship repair processes, systems, and technologies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• PMP certification is highly desirable.
