Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager/Estimator specializing in steel construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and estimating large-scale steel construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of steel construction processes, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all phases of steel construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop detailed project estimates and schedules, assessing project risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
• Maintain effective communication with clients to provide updates and address any concerns.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare and present project status reports and forecasts to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field but not required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and estimation within the steel construction industry.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work on-site in Richmond without remote options.
