We are seeking a skilled Epic Ambulatory Analyst to support the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the Epic Ambulatory module. The ideal candidate will work closely with clinical and operational teams to ensure efficient workflows, system configurations, and overall system performance. This role requires expertise in Epic Ambulatory, strong analytical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, build, test, and maintain the Epic Ambulatory module to meet organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with end-users, clinicians, and stakeholders to gather requirements and optimize workflows.
  • Perform system analysis, troubleshoot issues, and provide end-user support for Epic Ambulatory applications.
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including design specifications, workflows, and training materials.
  • Conduct testing and validation to ensure system integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical, and revenue cycle departments, to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, assisting with onboarding and continued education on system functionalities.
  • Stay up to date with Epic best practices, system updates, and healthcare industry regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Epic Ambulatory Certification (preferred or required depending on employer needs).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience working with Epic Ambulatory, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, electronic health records (EHRs), and healthcare IT systems.
  • Experience with system configuration, troubleshooting, and end-user training.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
