We are seeking an experienced RIS Project Manager to lead the implementation of MedInformatix RIS, replacing the current Softrad v4 system. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing RIS implementations, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption to radiology workflows. Sectra PACS experience is a plus as integration and interoperability will be key components of the project. This will be a remote role with some travel, the engagement will be 6-9 months. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the full RIS implementation lifecycle, from project initiation to go-live and post-implementation support.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment between radiology, IT, clinical teams, and vendors.
  • Conduct workflow assessments to optimize RIS functionality and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate data migration from Softrad v4 to MedInformatix RIS, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Provide training strategies and support change management initiatives for end-users.
  • Monitor project KPIs and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices

Key Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experience in Healthcare IT project management, with a focus on RIS/PACS implementations.
  • Strong understanding of Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and PACS workflows.
  • Experience managing MedInformatix RIS or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with Sectra PACS is highly desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude with experience in data migration and system integrations.
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or ITIL certification is a plus.
