The Board of Directors of a Park Avenue–style condominium community nestled in the heart of Cleveland’s historic east side is seeking a strategic and service-driven General Manager to lead the operations and staff of this iconic residential community. This legacy property offers both timeless elegance and modern convenience, all within one of the city’s most vibrant, walkable, and culturally rich neighborhoods. The General Manager will be entrusted with delivering the level of service expected in such a setting, overseeing all sectors of service from valet parking and in-suite maintenance to guest accommodations and business services.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated Board and engaged residents to preserve the legacy of this historic property while enhancing its future.

  • Experience managing high-end residential or hospitality properties with a focus on delivering exceptional service and maintaining elevated quality standards.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a large, diverse team across a range of roles and experience levels.
  • Deep financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, vendor management, and oversight of capital expenditures.
  • Technical proficiency in managing older or historically significant properties, including coordination with architects, engineers, and service vendors to address facility challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, board members, staff, contractors, public officials and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and embrace an entrepreneurial approach toward achieving highest and best outcomes.
  • A track record of implementing systems, processes, and efficiencies that improve service delivery and organizational effectiveness
  • High emotional intelligence and relationship management and conflict resolution / negotiations capabilities, including the ability to navigate complex resident expectations with diplomacy and professionalism.
  • Community-minded, with a history of active engagement with neighborhood organizations, civic leaders, and local businesses.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred.
