Due to a retirement, this organization is seeking a Manufacturing Accountant to work in the site accounting team. The Manufacturing Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting functions and will report to the Site Controller. Responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and support month-end and year-end activity
- Make any needed updates and changes to standard cost in the ERP system
- Complete general ledger and journal entries
- Prepare ad hoc, cost, spending and analysis reports within the ERP system and Power BI
- Assist with inventory tasks, including reconciliation
- Complete internal and/or external audits
- Support daily accounting tasks, including coding for invoicing
- Partner with others to help complete the budgeting and forecasting process
- Work on streamlining accounting functions for the department
- Become cross-trained in other accounting duties in order to support the team
- Other accounting duties as requested

Medical benefits are available the first of the month after 30 days of employment. Holidays, vacation, 401K and bonus! REQUIREMENTS for the Manufacturing Accountant:1. Minimum of an Associate's degree; a Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred2. At least two years of similar experience in a manufacturing accounting role3. Experience supporting the month-end and year-end accounting process
4. Financial analysis experience 5. ERP experience 6. Microsoft Office, specifically strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP function, etc. Skills preferred but NOT required:1. Automotive supplier work experience2. Cost accounting 3. Auditing 4. Budgeting and forecasting
5.
