Our client, a busy and rapidly growing Dallas law firm specializing in real estate development and public finance, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Affordable Housing & Community Development Practice Group. This team represents both public and private clients in affordable housing, community development, real estate development, bond transactions, tax credit transactions, and real estate finance.
As an Associate, you will work closely with the Practice Group Directors, other associates, and paralegals to provide transactional legal services and counsel to a wide range of clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support public and private clients in affordable housing, community development, bond and tax credit transactions, and real estate finance
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents
- Manage client relationships and contribute meaningfully to ongoing projects
- Provide strategic legal advice on complex real estate and financing matters
Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school (Top 1/3 preferred)
- Licensed to practice in Texas, in good standing
- 3–5 years of experience in affordable housing, bond, tax credit, real estate, or real estate finance transactions
- Ability to immediately assume responsibility and actively contribute to projects and client work
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
