Our client, a dynamic and growing Dallas-area law firm, is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in both transactional estate planning and probate/trust litigation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing high-volume, high-stakes matters in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, file, and manage estate planning documents, probate pleadings, petitions, fiduciary accountings, and discovery materials.
  • Coordinate probate and trust administration processes from inception through final distribution.
  • Support attorneys in fiduciary litigation, including drafting court filings and tracking deadlines.
  • Conduct legal research related to probate procedures and estate planning matters.
  • Manage case files, court calendars, and e-filing across local and state jurisdictions.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive client information.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a paralegal in trusts & estates, estate planning, and probate litigation.
  • Extensive knowledge of estate planning documents, probate court rules, and fiduciary dispute procedures.
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents and court filings with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of local and state court systems, including electronic filing platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
