Job Requirements 

The following are REQUIREMENTS  for consideration:

• U.S. citizenship is required; an active secret clearance is a plus. At a minimum, must be security clearance eligible 

• Government Accounting Standards: FAR, DFAR, and CAS compliance 

• Government Contracting & Reporting 

• Proposal costing, budgeting, analysis, control, and audit 

• Bookkeeping, AR/AP for FASB corporate accounting 

• HR benefits and payroll management 

• 5 + years of US Government, DoD, and commercial contract and subcontract financial negotiation and administration 

• MBA or BA in Finance 

• Demonstrate ability to resolve and prioritize conflicting demands 

• Experience in the Unanet accounting system a plus

Job Summary 

The Controller is an experienced hands-on financial manager who oversees accounting, proposal costing, and contract management in a fast-paced, high-tech R&D environment. 

This role coordinates day-to-day accounting, contract management, and HR activities. The Controller reports to the President/CEO and works closely with the CEO and Project Managers to ensure financial targets are met. 

Responsibilities will include: 

• Oversee HR and Accounting Staff

• Monthly GL reconciliation 

• Monthly financial reports 

• Monthly analysis of data 

• Weekly analysis of job costs vs budget 

• Work closely with PM setting up and managing jobs 

• Contract Management 

• Proposal Pricing 

• Annual Rate submission 

• Annual ICE submission 

• Reporting to all government financial entities 

• Solve diverse problems daily in a complex environment 

• Unanet Experience

Salary and Benefits

Salary: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year, dependent on experience, skill level, and the extent to which the candidate meets desired requirements
